We have three new Acolytes helping us during worship:  Brook, Emerald and Sydney.  Logan was a great help in training the new Acolytes and will continue to help serve as a lead Acolyte.  We also want to thank Jacob for his service over the past few years and wish him good luck as he prepares to graduate from high school and join the Marines. We have added two new committees (Altar Guide and Worship Planning) to the Worship and Ministry board.  Altar Guide is not new, but we have not had this committee for several years. Being new to this board I am surprised to learn just how much work these ladies do on a weekly basis. I am learning a lot of new definitions and terms and am enjoying working with them. I want to personally thank everyone who has performed these duties over the past years.   Worship and Planning committee is responsible to work with and help Pastor Mike. We work out schedules for decorating our church; choosing hymns that coincide with the lessons and gospel reading for each service of the year; plan, print, and assemble the bulletins.  If you are interested in joining either of these two Committees please see Arvid before or after service. We have a new signup sheet that includes several ways you can help serve. So far your response has been great. Please keep it up. I want to also encourage you to sign up for something new to you.
